Biology is the study of life!  The course investigates all the different life forms on earth and their unique characteristics as well as their similarities, the unity and diversity of life on this planet. The class will be a weekly tutoring session that consists of lectures to explain the major topics of study complete with working examples from the textbook, discussion, and answering questions about the material.

Chemistry examines the building blocks of life.  It answers big questions like “What is matter and what is it made of?”  It explores how elements, molecules, and compounds interact at a molecular level.  

The class will be a weekly tutoring session that consists of lectures to explain the major topics of study complete with working examples from the textbook, discussion, and answering questions about the material.

Completion of Algebra 1 is required for this class.
