I believe that every child is musical and my desire is to provide TFAI's youngest students with a joyful and fun filled first music class experience.Shout for joy to the Lord all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs. Know that the Lord is God.
BIO
My husband and I have four children ranging in age from 13 to 27 and we’ve been part of the homeschool community in Brevard for 18 years. Before homeschooling, I spent two years as a classroom teacher in a private Christian school. My passion for teaching music began when I was just a teenager playing the piano and helping to direct the children's choir at my church. Since then I have continued teaching children's music both at church and in a homeschool co-op setting and I have also enjoyed teaching private piano lessons since 2008. Over the last decade my co-op classes have performed a number of musicals including "Agape League", “I Witness News, Live from Jericho”, “America the Land of the Free”, “Christmas in Reverse”, “A Tribute to the 50’s”, and “Willy Wonka Kids”. Many of these were performed in nursing homes and retirement communities. My overall desire is to teach students to use their music as a means to praise God and bless others. I’m beyond excited to have the opportunity to assist with elementary music with the Titusville Fine Arts Initiative.
